Autumn vibes are in full swing, and we’ve got our eye on the biggest books to watch out for this fall. While you’re narrowing down the best books to read, we’re here to help with a preview of what’s coming up this month. With award season and holiday shopping just around the corner, it’s scary how many good books traditionally make their appearance in October.

Quick preview

🔎 Grisham fans wait in suspense until Oct. 17 for The Exchange, a stunning new legal thriller that marks the return of Mitch McDeere, the brilliant hero of The Firm.

💥 Real-life drama takes center stage on Oct. 3 with Collision of Power: Trump, Bezos and The Washington Post by Martin Baron, a front-row seat to the epic power struggle between politics, money, media and tech.

📚 More nonfiction includes Be Useful from Arnold Schwarzenegger (Oct. 10), who gives insight into the seven rules to follow to realize your true purpose in life, as well as Being Henry by Henry Winkler (Oct. 31), a deeply thoughtful memoir of the lifelong effects of stardom and the struggle to become whole.

🌟 Those who need a break from reality will reach for the first book in a new adult fantasy series, Sword Catcher by Cassandra Clare (Oct. 10), or wrap things up with the conclusion to Stephanie Garber's Once Upon A Broken Heart YA romance trilogy, A Curse for True Love (Oct. 24).
