The Angry Wives Club available for July’s Libby Reads with Ben Hobson

It feels every time I scroll through Instagram, I see someone showing their current read as The Angry Wives Club by Gabbie Stroud. So, I was thrilled to see it’s going to be the featured title for Libby Reads with Ben Hobson’s book club in July. That means you can borrow it with no wait from your participating library in Australia during the whole month. Then, author Gabbie Stroud will be joining Ben Hobson for the free virtual book club on Zoom on 28 July at 7:30 AEST. Register here.

The Angry Wives Club is a domestic noir with a chick-lit twist: a story of laughter, sisterhood, and women daring to do things differently. And if you haven’t yet joined a Libby Reads virtual book club, it’s honestly the simplest way to join a community book club without even leaving your house. Cosy up with a glass of wine or a cuppa and hear directly from the author on her writing process while getting the chance to ask her your own questions and chat with other readers.

You’ll be excited to join another book club after attending and August’s featured title is going to be a national read across Australia – which means it’s available with no wait at all participating libraries across the country from 11-25 August. The featured title is the first in the Caleb Zelic crime series, Resurrection Bay by Emma Viskic. So mark your calendar for August as well – that author chat and free Zoom event will take place 25 August at 7:30 AEST.

Register for both events here (and see what else is upcoming). See you on Zoom and check out the rest of 2026’s featured titles below!
