Some good things don't have to go – like book club

Your next free read for New Zealand’s digital book club is here! Good Things Come and Go by Josie Shapiro is July’s featured Libby Reads with Jacqueline Bublitz book club pick. Register here for the digital book club chat.

You know that feeling when you finish a great book and immediately want to text someone, "Have you read this yet?!" Or you have 34 thoughts about the ending and nowhere to put them? That’s where Libby Reads with Jacqueline Bublitz comes in!

Maybe you caught host, Jacqueline Bublitz, talking all things Libby Reads book club on Radio New Zealand last weekend – or maybe you’re an avid attendee already. This community book club gives you access to the featured book all month long via your participating library in New Zealand on the Libby app. Then, each month, join the free Zoom event to ask the author all your questions directly and chat with other readers – all from home (or wherever you have some wifi!).

July’s pick is a novel about friendship and betrayal, ambition and grief, Good Things Come and Go is also a study of homecoming and heartbreak and an ode to the courage of taking risks no matter the consequences.

Borrow it on Libby and then join Jacqueline and Josie on 29th July to chat about the book. Whether you're the type to highlight every page or just like hearing what everyone else thought, you'll fit right in. And if life gets busy and you don’t quite finish the book, come anyway. We promise nobody's checking.

Visit Libby Reads with Jacqueline Bublitz page to see more upcoming book clubs and register in advance!
