Loved Jenna’s January pick? 5 noteworthy reads like “Homeschooled”
If you follow along with the Read with Jenna book club (if not, you totally should), then you know that Jenna Bush Hager only puts her stamp of approval on books that she truly loves and wants to share with other readers. So, when we saw that she had selected Homeschooled by Stefan Merrill Block as her January 2026 featured title, we knew it had to be good.
“Homeschooled is a beautiful debut memoir. I loved its raw honesty and the very American story of one little boy growing up in a family where love is obvious but so is dysfunction,” Jenna says in her official announcement.
In honor of kicking off 2026 with such a stellar read, we’ve highlighted a few more titles that would be perfect for those who ended up falling in love with Homeschooled and are looking forward to furthering their education on titles of that nature.
