July 2026's biggest books

Okay, everyone. It’s hot. We’re sluggish. Not even the promise of 4th of July fireworks are enough to make me want to go outside, even after dark. Which is why it’s so wonderful that we have so many amazing books to choose from to enjoy while we try to stay out of the heat!

So, pour yourself a nice iced bevvy, slow down, and pick up your device, and think about what you want to do with these long, summer days. Maybe you want to go on a romantic nostalgia trip, hit the ice, or pick up a new hobby

July is a long month, the peak of summer, and for those who get a break, maybe you're missing some of your friends, so this is the perfect time to finish up an award-winning series that you’ve loved for years.

So, I invite us all to stay cool, stay safe (make sure your weather alert radio has backup batteries!), and keep your Libby loaded with all of the great new releases that will have us wishing for an endless summer!

🔥 If you’re looking for a new read (with zero waiting), check out the July Libby Reads book club pick, I See You've Called in Dead. It’s funny, dark, and a little introspective like Fredrick Backman’s A Man Called Ove. The best part: both ebook and audiobook are available with no holds or waiting from July 9 – 23!

*Title availability may vary.
