A brand-new book club launches in New Zealand: Libby Reads with Jacqueline Bublitz
Calling all Kiwi readers! A new monthly book club is kicking off from your library and Libby featuring New Zealand authors and stories. Introducing Libby Reads with Jacqueline Bublitz, a free online book club created especially for readers in Aotearoa New Zealand. Each month, you can borrow the featured title through your participating library on Libby with no waiting and then join a live Zoom discussion with the author – all for free of course.
Meet your host: Jacqueline Bublitz
Jacqueline Bublitz is the bestselling author of Before You Knew My Name and Leave the Girls Behind. As the host of Libby Reads, Jacqueline will be joined by authors each month to discuss their featured book, writing process and of course your own questions as readers!
February’s pick: A Beautiful Family
The first Libby Reads with Jacqueline Bublitz book club kicks off in February with A Beautiful Family by Jennifer Trevelyan, a tense, page-turning debut of childhood, innocence, and evil taking place over the course of one sunbaked summer vacation.
The ebook and audiobook will be available to borrow in Libby for the entire month (at participating libraries). Then, on 25 February at 7.30 NZDT, join Jacqueline, Jennifer and fellow readers for a free live Zoom discussion, where you’ll have the chance to hear more about the book, ask questions, and share your own thoughts. Register and see upcoming books and events here: https://pages.libbylife.com/Jacqueline-Bublitz
We can’t wait to kick off book club with you
If you don’t see Libby Reads with Jacqueline Bublitz in Libby, reach out to your local library to ask if they participate.
