Fall is the season for books. I’m not sure if it’s because we’re still riding the reading wave from the fresh crop of summer reads, or maybe the cool air's just a good excuse to curl up on the couch with a book. Whatever it is, we’re here for it, and the authors are bringing it. Fall is typically a big season for the publishing industry, with most of the year’s highly anticipated books from top authors being released in the months of September-December.

What are you reading this fall?

You might already be expecting some of the biggest books to hit physical and virtual bookshelves this fall: Fairy Tale by Stephen King, The January 6th Report, Our Missing Hearts by Celeste Ng, Going Rogue and so many more (be still, my reading heart).

But there are also some new fall favorites in town from debut authors and seasoned writers alike to put on your radar. Read on for recommendations from some of books’ biggest enthusiasts—librarians!
