Share:

If January was the longest month ever then February happened in the blink of an eye. But each month of 2025 has brought an incredible batch of newly released books and March is no exception!

It’s been five years since we’ve had any news out of Panem and in March, we’re finally able to return to the world of the Hunger Games, with Suzanne Collin’s latest, Sunrise on the Reaping. Set 25 years before Katniss and Peeta enter the arena, readers will hear more about Haymitch Abernathy as he competes in the Quarter Quell 50th Hunger Games.

If you’d like to escape to a more joyful setting, you can dive into the charming world of The Strawberry Patch Pancake House by Laurie Gilmore. Single dad Archer runs a pancake restaurant but needs help to care for his daughter. Iris is looking for work and when it’s suggested that she nanny for Archer... well, things get complicated.

Fantasy lovers, this month brings some highly anticipated releases including Oathbound by Tracy Deonn, the thrilling third book in the Legendborn Cycle. Also be sure to check out Our Infinite Fates by Laura Steven, a star-crossed tale of doomed lovers.

Thriller readers need not be disappointed either! The New York Times bestselling author and Netflix extraordinaire, Harlan Coben, is back with a sequel of sorts in Nobody’s Fool.

Internet favorite and self-proclaimed professional hater John Green is back with a detailed look at one boy’s life and the impacts of the world’s most deadly infectious disease with Everything is Tuberculosis.

If you’re in the mood for something short and magical, check out The River Has Roots by Amal El-Mohtar.

There are so many releases hitting the physical and digital shelves this month! Stop by your nearest library branch or find these books in the Libby app from your local library.
