“The only thing that you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library." - Albert Einstein
You know libraries are where to go to borrow books. But those safe, cozy, welcoming spaces have so much more. At the heart of your community, they’re entertainment and community hubs with ebooks, audiobooks, digital magazines, streaming movies, innovative technology, art exhibits, tool lending spots, career support, family events, cooking classes, and more — all for free. All from your library right in your neighborhood.
If you haven’t visited the library in awhile either in person or online, now’s the time to check it out and rediscover what’s available to you. To spread the word, we’re partnering with public libraries across the country and hitting the road this summer in OverDrive’s 53-foot Library Vehicle, “the LV” (previously known as the Digital Bookmobile), to bring the magic of your local library to you with one simple reminder: Check out your library.
Check out ebooks.
Check out audiobooks.
Check out streaming videos.
Check out so much more at your library!
(And check out your wallet for your library card. It’s your ticket to all these free goodies!)
Immerse yourself in a world of books and movies at the Fiction & Film Festival, our interactive and family-friendly tour coming to a city near you this summer:
📚🍿 Get book and movie recommendations from local experts (your librarians!).
📸 Snap a few photos with your friends in our custom photo booth.
🎧 Sample a story in our audiobook listening stations.
🛋️ Lounge in a cozy reading nook and take a break.
✍️ Listen to your favorite authors and filmmakers chat live about their recent books and movies.
