November’s biggest books
November will be a HUGE month for books. While fall tends to be the season when many bestsellers hit bookshelves, this month in particular will see many titles being published with print runs in the millions.
By now, we’ve all heard about supply chain woes, and the publishing industry is no different. A paper shortage that began in 2021 may be getting even worse this year due to employee resignations and complaints about work/life balance. It’s even impacted the upcoming release of Britney Spears’s tell-all story, which she finished in the summer, with a planned publication date of January 2023. Finding enough paper to print the mega-thousands of copies needed has now made the release date uncertain. When you can’t find enough paper for Britney, you know things are really bad.
While the publishing world continues to grapple with the ongoing shortage, here’s a taste of some of the sure-to-be bestsellers coming our way:
Nov. 1
- Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing by Matthew Perry
- Going Rogue by Janet Evanovich
- Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story by Bono
- Forgive: Why Should I and How Can I? by Timothy Keller
- The Philosophy of Modern Song by Bob Dylan
Nov. 8
- The Stories We Tell by Joanna Gaines
- Desert Star by Michael Connelly
- Cursed by Marissa Meyer
Nov. 15
- So Help Me God by Mike Pence
- Faith Still Moves Mountains by Harris Faulkner
- The Lost Metal, Mistborn series #7 by Brandon Sanderson
Nov. 22
